Charlie’s Spicy Seasoning Blends are inspired by our southern mother and grandmother, Charlesetta “Charlie” Amos.  Her seasoning blends will be some of the best things to happen in your kitchen! And once you taste them, you’ll agree – there’s no other like it.

She grew up during a time when “farm to table” wasn’t just a trend, but a way of survival. At just 8 years old, she started gardening and cooking for her entire family, and she wasted nothing.  She used items from her garden to cook as well as preserve, and Charlie started experimenting with different spice blends and soon became a favorite cook within her family.  She later moved with her parents to different areas in the South, but then settled in Greenville, Mississippi where she married and started a family of her own, eventually becoming a loving mother to 10 children.   Charlie and her husband worked on their own farm growing fruits, vegetables, poultry and meat.  She continued to experiment with her homemade seasoning blends and soon became quite popular with family and friends.  She had a growing community of loyal followers longing for her food.  And when Charlie moved to Connecticut, her popularity continued to soar as her southern home cooked meals were always a top request for any main function or event!
